Beginner Yoga

 Basic Yoga

Beginner Yoga is great for new practitioners. Classes offer basic instruction of yoga practice, an introduction to correct breathing and postures (asanas) as well as a gentle flow to accustom yourself to the practice and become familiar with your body's needs and abilities.

Intermediate / Advanced Yoga

Inermediate yoga

This class is recommended for those that have practiced yoga before. It is designed to be more challenging than the beginner class. Therefore, a basic awareness of breathing and postures is needed for the intermediate/advanced levels.
All Levels Yoga



This class is designed to challenge each individual at their own personal level. Instructors will give varying degrees of depth for each posture and practitioners are reminded to take it to their own level. Assistance is also offered to those at the beginners level.
Mommy & Me (Toddlers)

Mommy and Me yoga

Every mother needs time to herself but it can be hard to find the time. This class is designed to let moms practice yoga, release the stresses of the week and find some peace of mind while children learn not to be completely dependant on mom 24/7. Plus, there's no need to find a babysitter as your child is right there with you!
Gentle Yoga for Women/Prenatal



A prenatal based class designed to meet the needs of all women. Prenatal classes consist of modified physical postures (asanas) and posture awareness that help prevent and or relieve some common discomforts of pregnancy. It provides a safe environment for pre and post natal women while allowing other women the opportunity to share in their own birth stories, bond, and receive the same relaxing and rejuvenating benefits.

Restorative Body & Mind

Penatal yoga

Restorative Yoga is for anyone who wants to slow down, come into the moment and release stress and anxiety. Lots of breathing, slow and gentle movements and a deep feeling of well being. Discover the direct benefits of "relaxation in action". This class is especially beneficial for people with physical limitations, injuries and stress.
Kids Yoga (ages 5-10)

Fun and games at Yoga themed birthday party

This class teaches children how to respect and connect with their bodies, as well as those around them. The poses show how to stretch and strengthen every part of their body, increasing body awareness and building self-esteem. The classes offer students tools to release their thoughts and de-stress in an environment that is suitable for their active bodies and minds.

Family Yoga



A fun way to bring the whole family together. Using fun yoga poses, it's a great way to get everyone involved in an activity together.

Bellydance Classes

Beginner Bellydance



This is a basic class designed for the beginning student. Classes begin with a warm up to shape the body, increase flexibility and tone and strengthen the muscles of the lower and upper body. Then students are taught individual moves of bellydance technique as well as the foundation skills of isolating each part of the body. Each class is designed to balance the entire body, improve coordination and increase stamina.

This unique style of bellydance embraces traditional Middle Eastern, Indian, tribal, and modern dance and is tremendous fun while being great exercise!

All Levels Bellydance



The all levels classes are more advanced than the beginner classes. Beginners are welcome to join but we recommend that you have one or two classes under your belt first. The class follows the same routine as the beginner, but with more advanced moves and elaborate choreography.
Bellydance Strengthening & Technique



This is a more intimate class where students choose what area of the body or bellydance move they would like to work on. The class is designed to break down each move and perfect the technique. Good for students of all levels.
Bellydance Fitness

Andrea & Neil

Bellydance is a great workout. If you are interested in getting in shape and having fun along the way, this class is for you! Bellydance Fitness aims to strengthen the core muscles of the body, a benefit for every woman.

Beginner Bellydance Choreography



So you've learned the moves (or at least some of them) and you want to do something with them. Or you just like learning a specific dance and getting it down pat. Beginner Bellydance Choreography takes the moves you've learned in our other classes and creatively puts them together into a specific dance. Each week the dance is cleaned up or added onto until it is complete.

Students are asked to commit to the class and try to make each week so that they do not fall behind.

Indian Bellydance

Rhythm Bellydance w/ Live Drummer


Come dance to the rhythm of the drum! This class is designed to teach students how to dance with a live drummer, to feel out the rhythms and become an instrument through dancing. Students will learn how to listen for changes in a drum solo, how to improvise and, most of all, how to let your body dance.

Dance Troupe



A class designed for those bellydance students who are willing to commit their time to learn different choreographies and dance styles and who would be interested in performing at amateur events or festivals.

NOTE: To become a member of the Dance Troupe must first be screened and approved by Roni.

Nite Club

Are you looking for a workout? Do you want exercise that makes you sweat but lets you have fun at the same time? Nite Club is for you. This class is a fun, energetic, and aerobic hour of exercise that doesn't feel like work. World music and the newest club hits mixed with freestyle dancing and a relaxed atmosphere makes an "enjoyable workout" no longer an oxymoron.
 

Other Classes

Tai Chi



Qigong is the science of cultivating the body’s internal energy (called Qi in Chinese). The Chinese have been researching Qi for the last four thousand years, finding Qigong to be an effective way to improve health and cure many illnesses. Most significantly, they have found that it can help to achieve both mental and spiritual peace. The Qigong-Taiji (TaiChi) class will utilize the Qigong practices of TaiChi: Primary Set; rocking set, walking set, coiling set, taiji ball, taiji symbol training, Taoist breathing techniques, etc…eventually leading to the Yand Style Long Form (Yang Ban-ho).

Instructional Drumming


Ok, so you've seen the drum and now you want to learn how to play it. This class instructs students on the art of Middle Eastern drumming and how it interacts with "bellydance". All traditional rhythms are covered from Ayuub to Zaffa. Beginning and advanced percussionists are welcome as well as dancers that wish to learn more about the rhythms and communication between drummer and dancer.
